€29 covers one Mac. €49 covers three Macs. Both are one-time purchases with the same plugin features. No separate TurboBarn account is required.

Free trial

Without a license, all features remain available with no time limit. No account or payment is required to try it. Trial previews and exports include a watermark. Download the signed and notarized Mac installer. Close DaVinci Resolve before installing.

Activation

After a verified purchase, your license key appears on the purchase page. Keep a copy. Enter it in the plugin’s License window to activate each Mac. The plugin works offline after activation. To move a seat, deactivate the old Mac first. If that Mac is no longer available, contact support with your Paddle receipt.

Updates

Choose “Check for updates” in the plugin. If a release is available, download its installer, close Resolve, and install it. Updates are never installed while you are editing.

Activation data

When you activate or deactivate, TurboBarn receives your license key and a product-specific hash identifying your Mac. The service stores the license record, hashed key, activation identifiers and purchase transaction ID. It does not receive your footage, projects or asset files. Starting with the next plugin update after 0.9.1, the plugin checks its license every 30 days while running. If the service cannot be reached or returns no verifiable status, activation remains valid and the plugin retries after 24 hours. An overdue check runs when the plugin is next used. Only a verified revocation or removed device activation disables that activation. Periodic checks transmit the same key and device hash.

TurboLicense runs on Supabase, with its database in Frankfurt. Hashed request identifiers are used to limit abusive requests. License email delivery uses Resend; see our privacy policy for the data involved.
